A powder bath remodel will take 4-6 weeks from lead and asbestos testing to permits and remodel complete. Remove and replace remodels will be on the lower end of this spectrum and any jobs requiring wall moves or plumbing changes will reach the longer end of this spectrum.
We believe you remodel for you! A bathtub will not be the reason someone does not buy your home; homeowners have much larger priorities than a tub. If they want one, they will add one. If you use a tub, then updating your tub to a free-standing tub will give you a nice update.
